Two In A Bar Jazz Duo - Jazz Duo - Central London
Band ProfileTwo in a Bar are a London based jazz duo with a swinging programme of jazz, blues and Latin standards including classics such as Fly me to the Moon, Basin Street Blues and The Girl from Ipanema. Featuring Jules Haycock on vocals and Andy Ruiz Palma on guitar, the duo are a sophisticated act with a mellow sound that is perfect for creating atmosphere at dinner dances, corporate events, weddings and at wine bars and restaurants. Two in a Bar have been performing together for the last three years and are particularly popular at SW London jazz nights organised by The County Arms, Merton Abbey Mills and Tapanco (where they have a residency). A recent highlight of the duo's gig calendar was performing as the support act to Jo Brand's sell out show at the 2007 Cannizaro Park Festival, Wimbledon. Jules and Andy are experienced and versatile musicians. They draw from a broad repertoire of popular jazz classics to tailor their programme to suit the style of each event and venue. The duo has recorded two CDs and a demo is available on request. Two in a Bar can expand into a larger jazz band where required. Audio clips coming soon - contact us for more information.
