Band ProfilePriced from £325, Glenn Sharp is a professional Spanish and flamenco guitarist who is available for solo peformances at a wide range of events such as coporate events, parties and weddings. As a performer, he plays an extensive repertoire of flamenco and traditional Spanish guitar. Glenn regularly performs solo concerts and provides background music for bars, restaurants, private functions and weddings. For corporate clients looking to give their event a different feel to the normal small jazz bands and string quartets, an excellent Spanish and flemenco guitarist such as Glenn might prove a good choice. Dancers and Cajon available on request Glenn is based in Levenshulme, Manchester and performs at weddings, conferences and parties throughout Cheshire and the North West. He is also happy to perform at events in Leeds and York, and can of course travel further afield if requried. Glenn has studied guitar with Francisco Morales (Seville), Juan Martin, Steve Gordon (Dartington College of Arts) and Les Bolger (jazz guitar at Salford University). Since finishing his studies, he has been working as a session guitarist and tutor in the Manchester area, as well as his live solo guitar work for weddings and events. He has gigged and toured with many world-music artists including Nitin Sawhney and Aref Durvesh and his work can be heard on many recordings. In addition to his solo performances, Glenn is now the guitarist for flamenco dance troupe Candela and he works extensively with Latin musicians including his own Latin guitar duo Doce Cuerdas.
