Band ProfileThe Magenta String Quartet are an excellent youthful group based in Leeds in West Yorkshire and Manchester in the north west. The quartet met in 2001 at the prestigious Leeds College of Music and has grown into a vibrant ensemble during their time studying and playing together. The quartet covers a range of light classical music including works by Mozart, Elgar, Chopin, Boccherini and Haydn. If you prefer, they can also include some jazz and popular pieces by the Beatles, Oasis and others. Available for bookings in West Yorkshire such as Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield, North Yorkshire such as Skipton, York, Harrogate, Scarborough and Ripon, South Yorkshire such as Doncaster, Sheffield and Rotherham, and the North West including Manchester, Oldham, Stockport, Liverpool, Chester and other north west towns. # Please note that the personnel/line-up for Magenta can vary per event, but they always use professional, talented musicians used to playing with Magenta.
