Meena Lee Quintet - Jazz Band - Lincolnshire
Band ProfileThe Meena Lee Quintet is a well established, Lincolnshire-based band comprising guitar, saxophone, bass, percussion and vocals. They play a soft style of jazz, with numbers from as early as the 1930s, including songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Billie Holliday and Julie London, to name but a few. As well as the full quintet, they can also perform as a jazz quartet, trio or duo, to match different budgets. Specialising in performing wonderful Songs From the Great American Songbook, the Meena Lee Quintet has played in a variety of locations for different audiences, including hotels, restaurants, pubs, boat cruises, weddings, parties, promotions and at jazz clubs. They have played at Boston Party in the Park, in the Springfields Festival Gardens and have been the support band for Courtney Pine. The musicians get very positive feedback wherever they play.
