Band ProfileHigh energy funk, soul, disco, pop, rock & jazz. The dancefloor will never be empty if you book Funkology for your event! A top quality professional London function band playing classic soul, funk and disco tunes. Funkology can be booked in any lineup from a 5-piece for smaller events/budgets, right up to an amazing 10-piece band if the venue and budget allow. Funkology is an excellent wedding and corporate function band based in London with a huge sound that is second-to-none! The band has an outstanding pedigree, with members coming from West End Shows, The Guildhall School of Music or The National Youth Jazz Orchestra, ensuring live music of the highest quality! Funkology started out playing the legendary soul and blues songs covered by The Commitments and The Blues Brothers, but soon built upon this solid foundation by adding a whole host of other lively soul and funk classics. The band further complemented their song list with a number of '70s disco and '80s/'90s pop-rock favourites, thus ensuring that everyone's musical taste is catered for in their fantastic stage show.
