Ed Arnold - Bagpiper - West Yorkshire
Band ProfileEd has been playing the bagpipes for over 15 years. He has performed at over a hundred public and private events including weddings ceremonies, receptions, Indian weddings, corporate events and funerals. Ed has also performed at a series of high profile events including football matches for Derby F.C, performing at Polyanna Pickering's Scottish Wildlife Art Exhibition, piping at the Roll's Royce Burn's Super Social Event (anually for 6 years) welcoming the New Year at the Marriott Hotel in Sheffield, performing for Neil Abel's testimonial ice hockey match at Sheffield Ice, peforming at the Sheffield Highland Fling, performing on stage at the Sheffield Arena for the IIFA 2007 (Bollywood Awards) in front of 12'500 people, marching (wih his side drummer Barrie Haigh) the Keighley town mayor and other council members from Keighley town hall to the town church, and most recently performing at the 2008 Yorkshire Nations Cup Polo competitions in Beverley. Ed has performed at the Black Forest Beer Festival in Germany with the Nottinghamshire Police Pipe band and competed with Ashbourne Pipes and Drums in Grades 3 and 4 at piping competitions all over the country. Ed has also performed for Radio Sheffield and has appeared in the Derby Telegraph, the Derbyshire Times, the Chesterfield Express, The Sheffield Star The Sheffield Gazette newspapers and The Keighley News. Ed is available to hire for weddings, funerals, birthday parties, seasonal celebrations and all other occasions. The main areas he travels to are Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Northumberland, and Cumbria. However is always happy to consider travelling to anywhere in the UK and is also available to be booked internationally. Ed can be booked to perform solo or with a side drummer.
