Band ProfileBLIMEY O'REILLY are a band based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. They play popular Irish music for pubs, clubs, festivals, functions, and all kinds of private and corporate events. Blimey O'Reilly can perform Irish music as either a duo, trio or a 4-piece/quartet. Blimey O'Reilly is a band usually based around Nigel Rae on vocals and mandolin, Chris Sykes on vocals and rhythm guitar and Tom Poland on accordion. When playing as a 4-piece Irish band they usually add fiddle. Blimey O'Reilly use drum and bass backing tracks to give it a kick and perform a mix of uptempo singalong Irish favourites, ballads, newer songs by the likes of the Pogues and the Saw Doctors, and some jigs, reels and hornpipes too.
