Talented pianist John Whalley will be performing as part of a jazz trio at the RTS (Royal Television Society) North East & the Border annual Awards, held this year at The Sage, GatesheadYorkshire pianist John Whalley will be performing as part of a hand-picked jazz trio, to perform at the RTS (Royal Television Society) North East & The Border Awards. The Awards are an annual event (and the biggest media awards ceremony outside of London) for the RTS and in 2010 they will be held at The Sage in Gateshead - one of the UK's most prestigious cultural venues. The Awards are a celebration of the region's production sector and this year will be hosted by SKY's Anna Botting. There will be awards for post-production and animation, online content and computer games design and the RTS will continue to celebrate the very best of individual and team achievements in both factual and drama production. John Whalley's DWH Trio have been selected by events producers working for the RTS, to perform at the 2010 Awards for North East & The Border, on February 27th 2010 at The Sage. We are honoured that the RTS have chosen to work with John Whalley and Orchestrand for the Awards in 2010.
